Our Story
Vida Health and Wellness was born from a deeply personal mission: to create a space where healthcare feels human again.
As a nurse practitioner and mother of two sons with complex mental health needs, I have experienced firsthand the gaps, frustrations, and limitations of the traditional healthcare system. I saw how difficult it was to find compassionate, accessible, and truly integrative care — not just for my family, but for many patients I served over the years.
That’s when the vision for Vida Health and Wellness began to grow in my heart.
I dreamed of building a clinic where patients wouldn’t be just another number. A place where time, dignity, prevention, and wellness matter just as much as treatment. A space free from the red tape of insurance companies, where care could be delivered with honesty, flexibility, and heart.
I wanted to offer a new kind of care — one that puts people first.

Meet The Team
Practitioner Background, Curriculum and Education
Anabel Rivero is a bilingual Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with over 10 years of experience in family medicine, mental health, and wellness. Born in Cuba and raised in Miami since her late teenage years, Anabel recently relocated to Polk County, Florida to embrace a simpler lifestyle and pursue her lifelong dream of integrating healthcare and holistic wellness in her own practice.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, Indiana, and is currently pursuing a Post-Master’s Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical experience includes working at some of South Florida’s most respected hospitals, including Jackson Memorial Hospital, Coral Gables Hospital, and Palmetto General Hospital, as well as serving patients in a family practice and urgent care clinic in Winter Haven.
Over the years, Anabel has built a strong reputation for her compassionate, patient-centered approach — listening deeply, treating the whole person, and empowering her patients through education, prevention, and trust.
