Founded by Anabel Rivero, a bilingual, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care, mental health, clinical research, wellness, and medical aesthetics, Vida Health and Wellness recognizes the importance of treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Our Story
Vida Health and Wellness was born from a deeply personal mission: to create a space where healthcare feels human again.
As a nurse practitioner and the mother of two sons with complex mental health needs, I have experienced firsthand the gaps, frustrations, and limitations of the traditional healthcare system. I understand how difficult it can be to find care that is compassionate, accessible, personalized, and truly integrative—not only for my own family, but also for the many patients I have served throughout my career.
Through those experiences, the vision for Vida Health and Wellness began to grow in my heart.
I dreamed of creating a clinic where patients would never feel like just another number—a place where they are heard, respected, and treated with dignity. I envisioned a practice where prevention, mental and physical wellness, confidence, beauty, and self-esteem are valued just as much as the treatment of illness.
I also wanted to create a space where care could be provided with greater honesty, flexibility, and compassion, without allowing the restrictions and red tape of the traditional healthcare system to interfere with the relationship between a patient and their provider.
I wanted to offer a different kind of healthcare—one that puts people first.

Meet The Team
Anabel Rivero
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Practitioner Background, Curriculum and Education
Anabel Rivero is a bilingual Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with more than 10 years of experience in family medicine, mental health, wellness and aesthetics. Born in Cuba and raised in Miami since her late teenage years, Anabel recently relocated to Polk County, Florida, to embrace a simpler lifestyle and pursue her lifelong dream of integrating traditional healthcare with holistic wellness through her own practice.
She earned her Nursing Degree from Florida National University in Miami and her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in Indiana and is currently pursuing a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical background includes working at several respected Miami-area hospitals, including Jackson Memorial Hospital, Coral Gables Hospital, and Palmetto General Hospital. She has also provided care in family practice and urgent care settings in Winter Haven and has contributed to clinical research as a sub-investigator in Lakeland.
In 2025, Anabel expanded her professional training into medical aesthetics, completing multiple advanced courses and certification programs. Her education included personalized, hands-on training with renowned APRN and aesthetic injector Stephanie Ferrer, owner and CEO of White Coat Glam in Miami. This specialized preparation has allowed Anabel to incorporate safe, evidence-based aesthetic treatments into her broader vision of health, confidence, and overall wellness.
Throughout her career, Anabel has built a strong reputation for her compassionate, patient-centered approach. She believes in listening deeply, treating the whole person, and empowering patients through education, prevention, trust, and individualized care.
